Mumble mumble on and on. 7 was Mimiru character development in a side-story where she meets an annoying SD-ish middle-schooler named A-20, and defeats a dungeon with her. 8 was Mimiru waiting for Tsukasa. Not a rollicking adventure. Both seemed like filler to me. Then at the end of 8 we get the impression that the spirit voice of Tsukasa’s mother is actually a malign entity manipulating Tsukasa for its own ends. I guess after so much filler, some sort of premonition of a serious plot twist was indicated in order to keep the kiddies coming back for more. I am less and less impressed.
