GeoPedia
Don’t let the name fool you: GeoPedia is not what you do with the body after abusing a child. Instead, it’s my working name for a Wiki-style system for collecting everyone’s view of their local environment, to construct a refined, accurate, representatively comprehensive view of the world. This can then be used as a vehicle for Local Search, a billion-dollar advertising opportunity which no one has yet managed to leverage well, and one which links intimately with another advertising opportunity — this one bigger than Google, in fact — namely, Mobile Search.
I’m not saying it hasn’t been done, but I am saying that it hasn’t been done right, because if it had, it would be a household name, and the first place you look when you want to find a good restaraunt, or need a chiropractor.
This also ties intimately with Notification Services.
