LogMe: A voluntary panopticon

Very similar to Notification Services, toplogically, LogMe converts a notification stream into a Personal Log, which can be presented, filtered, transformed in various ways to create useful user-generated content. Volunteer your own formulas for data-mining!

Following that turn: Make a virtue of necessity, and turn the stream of private details of your life into a useful asset, for your own purposes, rather than those of inimical corporations. Why manually blog, or worse lose your life, when you could be getting it logged? Ideally, LogMe would have a 24×7 a/v feed from your cellphone, and interpret it into an event stream tagged with metadata about locations, players, utterances, etc. That’s a bit far-off, however. Meanwhile….

More immediate use-cases might be very mundane. Inventory via SMS, for example.

Of course the ultimate business plan is to exploit the resulting data. But being able to sell services using the plumbing in the meantime is a Good Thing.
